I'm Tim.
A little about me.
I’ve spent much of my career helping people learn how to operate when the answers aren’t obvious.
My work has included leadership, teaching, mentoring, executive coaching, and designing learning experiences, with people at very different stages of their careers and lives.
Across those different settings, I’ve found something remarkably consistent:
People develop capability by doing: making decisions, trying things, getting feedback, reflecting on what happened, and trying again.
That idea also sits at the center of my doctoral work in instructional systems and learning design: how we create experiences that help people develop judgment and become increasingly capable of operating independently.
That’s the thinking behind both the coaching and Ground School offered here.
